t-PTK-PRK
In this method the operation is performed using laser entirely. The corneal epithelium is removed by laser and then the correction of refractive error is applied on the surface of the cornea. This technique does not use mechanical methods for determining the correction of the refractive error thus there is no need to touch cornea during surgery. The procedure takes a few minutes for each eye. The procedure is performed under topical anesthesia with eye drops, as simple PRK and then a contact lens is placed on the cornea until the epithelium is healed at about three days.
