Novel device for the evaluation of straylight in the human eye

The device was developed in collaboration between the University of Crete (research team H.Ginis) and the University of Murcia. A start-up company funded through the ESPA programme ("New innovative entrepreneurship") was established to market the device. The application received a distinction in the recent innovation competition "Greece Innovates". Clinical evaluation is expected to begin in the following months.
