Education & Meetings

The Lab of Vision and Optics meets one of its most important missions, the academic one, by educating and training young scientists in the field of Vision Sciences - Ophthalmology as well as in Basic Sciences. 

Education and training are implemented through teaching courses in the postgraduate program "Optics and Vision" of the University of Crete, the encouraging of Phd studies, the annual organisation of the Aegean Summer School in Visual Optics and the organisation of international specialized training seminars and meetings on cornea and retina pathology, modern techniques in eye surgery, diagnostics and optics of the eye.
